In 2021 I began my obsession with ceramic arts. I started in a college class, where I had access to shared studio space, electric and gas firings, as well as pre-mixed studio glazes. Every spare moment of my time was spent in the campus studio, learning the basics and refining my skills. By 2022, I found myself working full-time at Earthborn Studios, where I became proficient at electric firing, glazing, and throwing techniques related to mid-fire tableware. It was this studio where I honed repetition skills and practiced many aspects of production pottery business from making and glazing, to firing, order fulfillment, and shipping. I made few of my own works at this time. Rather, I focused on practice, learning from failure, and overcoming the challenges that production throwing demands. Here are a few of my best works from this time.
